3 day Rock climbing and mountaineering Course

From floor to flying.  Route to rope.  Hiking to Harness.  Welcome to our brand new 3 day introduction to rock climbing and mountaineering skills.

Day one is designed to give you the foundation safety skills you need to continue your own personal climbing development at an indoor climbing centre or if the sun shines brightly then we will start and stay outdoors.  Learning the ropes so to speak,  tying the correct knotts, using a belay device and controlling your climbers ascent/descent. 

Day two you will experience a full day of rock climbing and abseiling on a local, well known outdoor climbing crag. Using your skills from the previous days training.   Hands on real rock and getting the feel of what comes further down the line.

By day 3 you will have all the skills and knowledge you will need to comfortably follow a fully qualified and heavily experienced Mountaineering & Climbing Instructor on the rock routes only suitable for roped adventures.  The areas usually considered out of bounds to anyone but those teetering mountain goats.  Topping out on one of Wales popular summits for a spot of lunch before heading back down to your cars - the adventure battery fully recharged until next time.

A total and comprehensive course built to give you a foundation skill set and inspire you to what can be achieved further down the line.  A residential event which means 2 comfortable nights in our Bell Tent Basecamp complete with all your camping requirements.  Transport from the site to the various climbing venues will be included in the trip as well as all safety climbing kit and equipment.   Just bring a day bag, snacks and PJs!
