2 Day Navigation Course

Together we can open up the possibilities for your future adventures. ​Day 1 - Introduction to Navigation and Map Skills ​ Using and understanding a 1:25 (explorer) & 1:50 (land-ranger) Ordnance Survey map Working out your pacing Plan your route Orientating your internal compass ​ Day 2 - Improvers Navigation and Map Reading Skills including Compass Work ​ Day 1 refresher Understanding and navigating to contours Using your compass Following a bearing Emergency relocation ​ All together this can be a 2 day course booked as a whole or split into bitesize pieces to suit you and your availability. ​ By the end of the 2 days you should be fully equipped for those solo or group adventures confident that you have the foundation skills needed to keep you and yours safe while you explore. ​ Grant yourself the freedom to wander of the beaten track.
